First, we would like to say thank you so much for your support and for what you can donate!
Before you donate, remember the people who just lost most or everything may be exactly like you, planning out for a wonderful future with dreams that all just got washed away by Hurricane Helene. Think, while you turn out your lights and climb into your nice warm bed tonight, that if the storm blew a few degrees east, you might be the one who had everything washed away. So let's stand together and help those who have been thrown to the ground stand back up and show them America is where miracles happen, dreams can be restored, and Americans will always do whatever is necessary to help other Americans, even if it means moving mountains to do it.
Operation Disaster Relief is a project that was started by three local MD businesses to help aid in disaster relief and cleanup efforts in Western North Carolina and surrounding areas in the wake of Hurricane Helene and or future disasters around America by collecting donations that will go to help Americans in need. "No red tape" and "No political agenda." We are just like you, everyday Americans trying to help other Americans who need help right now. Our objectives are simple in principle, but making them a reality is going to be challenging, which is why we need your help.
Primary objectives: to “HELP AMERICANS” in need by determining what resources those affected in the disaster area need through the utilization of our contacts on the ground. This personnel on the ground have already given us lists of supplies that are currently needed, and they will keep us updated on the items, help, and all other resources needed as time goes on. We will be using this information to acquire anything that is needed to help with the disaster relief and cleanup efforts and then we will work on transporting and/or arranging the transportation of the supplies and/or resources to where they will be utilized best to help Americans affected most by this disaster based on the information on the ground that’s available to us at the time.
Secondary Objectives;
To relieve some of the strain put on the volunteering local citizens and local organizations and churches in the affected areas that have been working so hard to help others, and in some cases have even put off checking out and/or cleaning up their own homes and properties to help their fellow neighbors.
We are trying to be as flexible as possible by combining all resources we have at this time, such as volunteers, personal and business time and resources, donated supplies, and monetary donations, in an effort to be able to fill any needed role we can perform to help out in all aspects of disaster relief and cleanup efforts that are needed by those affected.
If there are any funds left from the disaster relief and cleanup from Hurricane Helene, they will be saved and utilized for other American disaster relief, large storm relief, and cleanup efforts to help other Americans in need.
Hello, my name is Cody, and I am the owner of Tree Pros of America, LLC. I am also a volunteer first responder and do my best to help those in the community every chance I can. We are an MD-based business that is locally owned and largely family-operated. Despite our name, we are actually a relatively small business, but we are very patriotic and take great pride in the quality, transparency, safety, and true American values, and we do anything in our power to help out our fellow Americans regardless of their background!
Dave is one of the owners of Hayes Tree Service, LLC. This is a small business that is a dual veteran-owned company with his wife. They have been fighting to keep America safe for many years. After Dave left the service after several combat tours overseas, he found that he was most happy working in a role where he could help others with problems they were not able to address themselves. This led him and his wife to help their community by assisting several nonprofit organizations and fundraising that have helped numerous Americans, including war veterans, over the years. https://hayestreeservicellc.com/
Corey is the owner of Meadow Munchers Mowing and Yard Service. He is focused on honesty and quality of work and has volunteered time and resources for safety training over the years. He is one of the most honest and selfless people I have met. For example, I know that he was overwhelmed with work and may have even been paying his crew overtime at the time of this situation, but he saw an elderly gentleman on the side of a busy road in traffic who was struggling to change a tire. Corey stopped all operations and pulled his work truck with strobe lights on the road as a blocking vehicle to help protect the man and kept his crew on the clock as they spent an hour or more helping the gentleman change his tire and safely get back on his way again.
We have decided to partner up and do everything in our power to pull as much of our resources together and help out with disaster relief and cleanup efforts. And yes, to answer your question, we may be competitors in part. But we are putting our competition on hold and coming "together united" with "American spirit" to work on big problems and help Americans who are in need right now.
